It’s been two months since the Nano Dimension Asia Pacific (APAC) office took root in Hong Kong Science Park. With things settling down and business ramping up, it was time to say hello to our neighbors.
On 23 August, 2018, Nano Dimension APAC organized a luncheon sharing session at the Science Park’s Robotics Garage. It was attended by R&D guests from 16 different companies in the area, representing a diverse repertoire of industrial specialties ranging from smart sensors and intelligent systems to wireless power solutions.
Nano Dimension’s APAC Director Gilad Reshef presenting about 3D printed electronics to luncheon sharing session attendees on 23 August, 2018.
To kick off the two-part session, Nano Dimension’s APAC Director Gilad Reshef gave a presentation to introduce the era of multi material functional 3D printing for electronics, the capabilities of the flagship DragonFly Pro 3D printer and its creative applications.
In addition, Reshef highlighted how Nano Dimension customers benefit from significantly shorter time frames for circuitry development and prototyping, greater freedom in design experimentation in a de-risked development process and increased security with sensitive IP staying in-house throughout the R&D process.
The guests then visited the Customer Experience Centre to see the DragonFly Pro and 3D printed PCB samples in person.
The sizeable turnout, inquisitive questions and level of attention sustained throughout the event reaffirmed our belief that we had brought a truly revolutionary technology into Hong Kong Science Park. At the same time, the discussions with different industry experts generated much insights for possible collaborations in the future, to unleash the full potential of 3D printed electronics and enable the development of highly complex electromechanical objects.
The decision to set up a regional Nano Dimension office and Customer Experience Centre in Hong Kong was made to enable closer ties with our channel partners in the Asia Pacific region, located in key markets such as China, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore and Australia. Along with the United States office and Israel headquarters, Nano Dimension is now well poised to support additive manufacturing of electronics in almost every key market globally.
